Remember earlier this month when I shared my all time favorite slow cooker pork recipe – the Pork Carnitas? Well this one is probably my second favorite – and maybe my family’s first – and while it isn’t the PRETTIEST thing to come out of my kitchen, it certainly is one of the tastiest.
My favorite part about this recipe is that it is made with ingredients I almost always have on hand – so even if I am lacking in inspiration (read: no desire to go to the store) I can still throw this together and know in a few hours I will have a delicious meal we all love. This comes in especially handy as the holidays approach and I have less and less time that I want to be in the kitchen.
One of the secrets to great slow cooker meals is using a great quality meat. Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork from Walmart is my go to favorite because it is naturally tender and juicy without any added steroids, hormones or artificial ingredients. I can feel good about feeding my family Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork and they love how great it tastes. It’s a total win-win.
I actually kind of discovered this recipe by accident. I was looking for something different and read about ranch flavored pork chops – but I did not have a packet of ranch seasoning. A few minutes with google and I figured out that I had everything I needed to make my own! It was like getting two recipes in one!
Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops
Ingredients:
• Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork Chops
• Family Size Can Cream of Mushroom
• Family Size Can Cream of Chicken
• 1 tbsp dill seasoning
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• ½ tbsp onion powder
• ¼ tbsp salt
Begin by putting all ingredients except for the pork chops in to your slow cooker and mix together well.
Then nestle in the pork chops and make sure they are covered completely. Cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
Then enjoy!
This recipe makes plenty of sauce which we love to pour over our favorite pasta for a side dish! The sauce is so savory delicious – we end up eating every last drop. It is a perfect meal for these chilly nights as it is warm and filling. It also goes great over rice – or even over vegetables! Finish off your meal with a salad and voila! A restaurant quality meal that took you literally minutes to throw together. That’s my kind of cooking!
Pick up Smithfield All Natural Fresh Pork at your local Walmart and make these Slow Cooker Pork Recipes your family favorites too!
