Since my children are in year-round school, they are heading back to school sooner than most kids. The kids are excited about heading back and have starting organizing their school supplies and uniforms in anticipation of the exciting first day back to school.
But I’ve seen this before. After a fun first week of meeting new teachers and reuniting with old friends, the kids are less and less thrilled about going to school. In just a few short weeks, we go from being excited about the new school year to settling into the everyday, not-so-exciting routine.
To give the kids something to look forward to, I’ve decided to have a little fun with their after-school snack time. The kids all love Goldfish® baked snack crackers, so I want to create some fun snacks that include Goldfish®. I think it will be fun for the kids to unwind a little after a hard day at school enjoying smile-worthy activities while they snack!
Since the kids have a lot of after-school clubs and sports, we end up spending a lot of time in the car. To help the children have fun while they snack, I created a Travel Bingo card for us all to play.
We do a lot of traveling on the weekends too, so these Bingo cards will be great fun while we road trip too.
Life with kids can be an adventure, so we like to stay prepared. This time of year can be a bit hectic, so we love to be ready for fun after-school snacks with the help of Goldfish®.

This is totally a great idea I drive semi truck and sometimes take turns taking the kids on the truck with me. I will be using this idea as a time passer!!
I loved playing travel bingo as a kid. It looks to have improved, using something yummy and edible like goldfish crackers as a marker.
These cards look so eloquent. You designed them so well 🙂
